I'm the published author of more than ten books. As a latina author I'm proud to say I have many latina heroines and a hero here and there of hispanic descent (Hot Phoenix Nights, One Last Kiss, All Wet). Warning that I write very spicy books (erotic fiction) and contemporary women's fiction as well.

In October of 2007 I combined my love of romance and baseball in my first gay fiction called Take Me Out. Love is equal. :)

In addition to writing I also rehabilitate and foster abandoned and abused dogs. This year alone I've cared for over forty dogs in my house (not all at once, thank god) ranging from severely neglected puppies to dogs who were hit in the face with hammers. I also volunteer my time as a rescuer and also as a trainer for therapy dogs. My dog Doyle, a chow mix, and I visit local nursing homes and serve as ambassadors for animal rescue and awareness of the cruely in the world and how each and every person can save lives and prevent inhumane behavior.

Writing, reading, baseball, and rescue. Really baseball is my only "hobby" since I write to make mula and I rescue because of all the irresponsible and just plain sh*tty people in the world.

If you're looking for a pet please adopt an animal in a shelter or rescue. Their days are limited, their lives on the line. Every breed, every size, every age can be found behind the bars of a kennel, possibly hours away from death.

If you already have a pet have it altered and if you have a pit bull or other bully breed know that if your dog is ever picked up by animal control or you surrender your pet to us, it's pretty much good as dead. Be responsible! It makes my job so much easier. :)
